“Meditation” – feature garden at Allianz Garden Show Ireland 2018

2018 sees the creation of a “Meditation Garden” in association with Aware by Chelsea Gold Medallist, garden designer Ian Price.

This feature garden is a celebration for both Ian and Garden Show Ireland. It celebrates Ian’s amazing feat of winning a Gold Medal for his garden “Mind Trap” at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and it celebrates a long association since Ian’s first Show Garden which he created at Garden Show Ireland in 2005.

The Meditation Garden focuses on the healing values of nature with a woodland path leading into a gravel tunnel which gives way to a reflective pool, a perfect place to sit and absorb the ambiance of the garden and to meditate.

“There are huge scientific links between the benefits of gardening, horticulture, green space, exercise and outdoors and positive mental health and physical health,” says Ian.
