Thousands of visitors from all over the world poured through the gates for the tenth Garden Show Ireland event which took place over the weekend in a brand new venue at Antrim Castle Gardens.  From Auckland to Orlando visitors flocked from near and far to enjoy an expanded new look Show which included appearances by Alys Fowler from BBC Gardeners’ World, Ireland’s world-renowned plantswoman Helen Dillon and Bunny Guinness – winner of 6 Chelsea gold medals and regular panelist on BBC’s Gardeners’ Question Time.

200 exhibitors, 30 primary schools, 19 prize winning scarecrows, thousands of plants, 4 medal wining show gardens,  46 different gardening demos and talks, hundreds of free design consultations,   12 rare wild birds,  6 chickens, 3 goats and much more made for a packed programme during the weekend!
